Avalanche signs goalie Trent Miner to one-year contract

The Colorado Avalanche took one step Tuesday toward sorting out the depth chart at goaltender. That currently leaves Miner at No. 3 on the depth chart, but Colorado will likely add another goaltender or two during the offseason to compete with Miner for playing time with the Eagles and Utah Grizzlies.
