Washington Commanders LB Jamin Davis Discusses Move to Edge Rusher Position
The upcoming NFL season poses a huge opportunity for the Washington Commanders as a whole. No. 2 overall pick Jayden Daniels and new offensive coordinator Kliff Kingsbury look to lead an offensive revival. This, however, changed things for Jamin Davis, another Commanders linebacker. Davis -- in his contract season -- will have an opportunity to play off the edge.

The Commanders got their quarterback, but it's fair to wonder if they took the right guy here. Jayden Daniels blossomed in his fifth and final year of college football, taking home the Heisman Trophy in a dazzling season for LSU. Daniels is on the older side and doesn't have elite physical tools as a passer, but is going to be an immediate asset in the run game. Drake Maye feels like a better pick, but time will tell. Regardless, the Commanders desperately needed a quarterback and they got one.

Love this pick for the Commanders. Newton has had some struggles with a foot injury over the past few months, but he’s as talented as they come for interior pressure players. He’s got a wide repertoire of pass-rush moves and if his foot is good to go, he and Jonathan Allen will wreck heads for Dan Quinn’s defense.

Shout out to the 2024 All-Juice Team! The Commanders grabbed a stud prospect to play in the slot for them. Sainristil is a competitive force who's not afraid to come downhill and hit people in the mouth. He’s got pretty solid chops in man coverage too. Nice pickup.
