Decatur alum signs on with Steelers 6 hours ago Brandon Bossert , SALISBURY, Md. – Darion McKenzie was a force with Decatur back in the day, and now he is signing on with the Pittsburgh Steelers as he continues to chase his dreams of playing in the NFL. The 25-year old made a name for himself in college with Merrimack. He played in eight game recording three interceptions this past season. This is the third player from Delmarva to get a chance to compete for roster spots in the NFL. Just this past weekend we saw North Caroline alum Ja'Mion Franklin sign with the Ravens, and Dover High's Jordan Magee get drafted by the Commanders. Great get for the Steelers. Fautanu has all the skills necessary to be a long-term starter on the offensive line, which is something that Pittsburgh still needs. Fautanu can play guard or tackle and now the Steelers have a strong duo up front between him and Broderick Jones.

The Steelers continue their major youth movement up front. First Broderick Jones last season, then Troy Fautanu in the first round of this year's draft, and now Frazier to man down their center spot. The Steelers clearly wanted to fix the offensive line this year and they’ve certainly moved in the right direction.
