New York Giants defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence is viewed among the elite players at his position entering the 2024 season. In ranking the top interior defenders in the NFL, Gordon McGuiness of Pro Football Focus put Kansas City Chiefs defensive tackle Chris Jones at the top of the list.

The Giants really needed to go quarterback here, but they weren't in love with the options on the board. Still, the Giants had a massive need at wide receiver as well and got the biggest playmaker at that spot in the draft. Malik Nabers can grow in to a true No. 1 wideout with blazing speed while they play out this season with Daniel Jones at quarterback.
