Jaguars make a controversial call regarding the 'Stadium of the Future'

New renderings of the new stadium were released on May 14, highlighting the venue as the centerpiece of Jacksonville's new entertainment district. There will be plenty of state-of-the-art updates at EverBank stadium, including new locker rooms, bathrooms, expanded seating, concessions, and other amenities. One of the more noteworthy changes is the addition of an artificial turf field, which is proposed to replace the current grass field. The turf outrage was reignited early in the 2023 season when Aaron Rodgers went down with an Achilles tear just four snaps into the season.
