    Bo Nix's age was a negative and a positive leading up to the 2024 NFL draft. The critics suggested Nix's age (25) and 61 starts in college translates to quarterback already near his ceiling in the NFL. Others counter that Nix's age and experience will help him make a rapid transition to the next level. The Denver Broncos adopted the latter philosophy, selecting the former Oregon Ducks' star with the No. 12 overall pick of the draft.

    One of the highlights of the National Football League Players Association's annual Rookie Premiere is the photo session with the draft picks in their NFL game uniforms for the first time. The gathering of the NFL's “marketable new stars” is used to take photographs of the rookies for trading-card sets and collect autographs and memorabilia for inclusion, too. The 30th annual Rookie Premiere over the weekend in Los Angeles gathered 40 players from the 2024 NFL Draft, and they took part in the photo ritual.
