Mocha Uson wants to get rid of soft porn on prime time

The new MTRCB board member wants no rampant sex scenes on prime time television

9 Jan - Mocha Uson has vowed to help bring change to the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) after her appointment as one of the board members.

As reported on CNN Philippines, the former entertainer, whose appointment sparked heated debate, stressed that her first mission is to get rid of soft porn in television shows airing on prime time slots.

Said Uson, "Some television dramas show sex scenes in the car, in the garden, or in rooms... Change should also come to television."

"I know it's hard because I am only one against my other board members but I will convince them not to allow its airing at times when children could be watching," she added.

Uson also stressed that she will not receive any salary for her work in the MTRCB, which she said to be part of her condition in accepting the job.

"I'm not after the compensation here, I'm not after the salary or the money, I just want to help this administration to bring change in our country," she said.
