Just in time for her 85th birthday on April 14, country music queen Loretta Lynn has some big news: She's releasing a brand-new album on August 18.

Titled Wouldn't It Be Great, the album is the follow-up to last year's Grammy-nominated Full Circle, her first new studio album in over ten years. Like Full Circle, Wouldn't It Be Great is produced by Patsy Lynn Russell, Loretta's daughter, and John Carter Cash, son of Johnny and June, and was mainly recorded at the Cash Cabin Studio in Hendersonville, Tennessee.

All 13 of the songs on Wouldn't It Be Great were either written or co-written by Loretta, meaning that it's one of the most deeply personal albums of her career. On it, you'll find new songs as well as reinterpretations of classics like "Coal Miner's Daughter" and "Don't Come Home A' Drinkin' (With Lovin' On Your Mind)." Loretta posted a short teaser video on her Facebook page to give fans a sneak peek:

"I think you've got to tell your stories," Loretta says in the video. "If you don't write about everyday living, then you mind as well hang it up."

Loretta will be celebrating her birthday by performing two sold-out shows at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee, but if you missed out on nabbing tickets, take note that she'll be back at the Ryman later this summer, on August 24th and 25th; tickets for those shows go on sale April 21 at noon (and each pair of tickets ordered includes a copy of her new album!).
