Ellen Degeneres is easily the most generous person on television today - and her latest act of kindness might just be one of her most thoughtful yet.

Last week, the beloved TV host welcomed 12-year-old Reuben de Maid to her show to perform a powerful rendition of "And I Am Telling You I'm Not Going" from Dreamgirls. After completely winning over everyone in the room with his incredible pipes, Reuben then sat down with Ellen and discussed his other passion in life: makeup.

"Ever since I was eight, I have been so interested," he said. "I used to watch my phone for hours on end, learning from tutorials and blogs, seeing how to do it."

Reuben went on to talk about how much he loves doing his mom's and younger sister's makeup just as much as he loves doing his own, before revealing he used to be bullied in school for it.

"In my drama group, I used to get hit, punched, and kicked," he said. "After two months, I tried to brush it off, but brushing it off doesn't work. So I stood up to them and I told my mom."

The 12-year-old then transferred to another school, where his classmates have been far more accepting of his incredible skills. Ellen was quick to express how proud she was of him, telling him how important it is that he stays true to himself and continues to follow his dreams - which include starting his own YouTube channel and having his own beauty brand.

In order to help him out, Ellen then gifted him with pretty much everything he could possibly need to get started - and his reaction is guaranteed to melt your heart.
