Insurance company Sura withdraws from Colombia's health system as government pushes for control
Colombian insurance company Sura announced on Tuesday that it will withdraw from the nation’s health system because the resources it receives from Colombia’s government to manage more than 5 million patients are not enough to cover its growing costs. Opposition leaders regretted the company’s decision and accused Colombia's first left wing government of trying to push private insurers out of the health care market in order to force Colombians to use publicly owned insurance companies.

Rangers activate Nathan Eovaldi to start World Series rematch instead of pitching rehab game
The Texas Rangers activated Nathan Eovaldi from the 15-day injured list to start their World Series rematch against the Arizona Diamondbacks on Tuesday night, rather than have the right-hander pitch in a rehab game. Eovaldi, an All-Star last season in his Rangers debut, had been out with a right groin strain since departing after 5 1/3 scoreless innings against Washington on May 2. Texas also activated rookie outfielder Wyatt Langford from the 10-day IL after he hadn't played since May 4 because of a right hamstring strain.

Trump trial live updates: Trump committed election fraud by 'any means necessary,' prosecutor says
Former President Donald Trump is on trial in New York City, where he is facing felony charges related to a 2016 hush money payment to adult film actress Stormy Daniels. Trump last April pleaded not guilty to a 34-count indictment charging him with falsifying business records in connection with a hush money payment his then-attorney Michael Cohen made to Daniels in order to boost his electoral prospects in the 2016 presidential election. Describing his own closing as "summation that never ends," prosecutor Josh Steinglass told the jury that in order to convict, they will have to find the defendant "has to have had the intent to defraud," but didn't need to actually make the records himself.
