Arkansas offers Illinois transfer defensive tackle Anthony Johnson

Head coach Sam Pittman and the Arkansas football team are looking to use at least one of its eight available scholarships on a defensive tackle from the transfer portal, and the Razorbacks seem to have found a candidate after offering Illinois transfer Anthony Johnson on Friday. A 6-foot-3, 295-pound senior from Pennsylvania, Johnson was offered by Arkansas when he entered the transfer portal out of Youngstown State following the conclusion of the 2023-24 season but he ultimately committed to Illinois.
