Former Valdosta State Head Coach David Dean hired as next head football coach at Lanier County

The Lanier County football team has a new head coach, and it's a name well-known throughout South Georgia. The Lanier County School Board approved the hire of David Dean on Wednesday night to become the Bulldogs newest head coach, a hire that's been in the works for months. Dean was the head coach at Division II University of West Georgia, serving in that role the past seven seasons.
