Syracuse, N.Y. -- Former Louisville cornerback Marcus Washington Jr. announced Tuesday that he will transfer to Syracuse and play for Fran Brown, the coach who initially recruited him to Georgia. Washington posted his commitment on Instagram. He did not record any counting stats last year and had one tackle at Georgia during his true freshman season. He came to Georgia as a four-star prospect in the Class of 2022. He has three seasons of eligibility remaining. He was listed last season at 6-foot-1 and 185 pounds.
