University of Connecticut officials said they will not be able to press charges after a rock painted with the phrase Black Lives Matter was defaced. The phrase had been painted on the spirit rock at the Storrs Campus. Last weekend, someone scratched out the word “Black” and replaced it with “all,” to read “all lives matter,” the school said in a prepared statement Friday.
