April jobs report, Fedspeak, earnings: What to watch
The April jobs report will be released Friday morning. Economists polled by Bloomberg predict the US added 240,000 jobs in the month and that the unemployment rate will remain unchanged at 3.8%. Chicago Federal Reserve President Austan Goolsbee and New York Federal Reserve President John Williams will speak. It comes after the central bank decided to hold rates steady on Wednesday. On the earnings front, Hershey (HSY), XPO (XPO), and fuboTV (FUBO) will report their latest quarterly results.
