Ticketmaster confirms data hack which could affect 560m globally
Ticketmaster owner Live Nation confirmed "unauthorised activity" on its database after a group of hackers said they had stolen the personal details of 560 million customers. ShinyHunters, the group claiming responsibility, says the stolen data includes names, addresses, phone numbers and partial credit card details from Ticketmaster users worldwide. The hacking group is reportedly demanding a $500,000 (£400,000) ransom payment to prevent the data from being sold to other parties.

Seoul's LGBT community gathers for annual festival despite protest
The annual Seoul Queer Culture Festival was held in the South Korean capital on Saturday despite previous issues in securing a venue and protests against the LGBT community's pride celebrations. "Our message to South Korean society at large this year is to affirm LGBTQ people," said festival chief organiser Yang Sun-woo. A protest against the Queer Culture Festival was held in a separate location in central Seoul on Saturday.

Israel pounds Gaza after Biden outlines ceasefire plan
Israeli forces hammered Rafah in southern Gaza with tanks and artillery Saturday, hours after US President Joe Biden said Israel was offering a new roadmap towards a full ceasefire.On Saturday, residents reported tank fire in the Tal al-Sultan neighbourhood in west Rafah, while witnesses in the east and centre of Rafah described intense artillery shelling.
