AL steals champ Ruiz hits IL with strained wrist

The Oakland Athletics placed outfielder Esteury Ruiz on the 10-day injured list Thursday with a strained left wrist. Ruiz, 25, is batting .200 with 2 homers, 8 RBI and 5 stolen bases in 29 games this season. The A's called up outfielder Daz Cameron from Triple-A Las Vegas and designated infielder Jordan Diaz for assignment.
