Former Tigers outfielder back in big leagues with Oakland

Former Detroit Tigers outfielder Daz Cameron is back in the big leagues for the first time since 2022. The Oakland Athletics selected Cameron's contract on Thursday. Cameron was hitting .307 with 15 doubles, two triples and six homers in 165 plate appearances with Triple-A Las Vegas. Cameron, 27, hit .201 with five homers and nine stolen bases in 73 games with the Tigers over parts of three seasons.
