The Los Angeles Dodgers have had a busy week in terms of giving prospects an opportunity, with a trio of rookies making their MLB debuts in three consecutive days during the Washington Nationals series. The MLB Debut Patch is a collaborate program between Fanatics Collectables, Topps, Major League Baseball and the Major League Baseball Player's Association that was first implemented last season. The premise of the program was to create a one-of-a-kind piece of memorabilia to be distributed by Topps in trading card packs.
The Los Angeles Dodgers recalled Kyle Hurt, selected the contract of Eduardo Salazar from Triple-A Oklahoma City, and optioned Ricky Vanasco and Nick Ramirez prior to their game against the Washington Nationals on Tuesday. It was part of a series of roster moves that also included calling up Andy Pages and designating Taylor Trammell for assignment. Trammell being designated made room for Salazar on the 40-man roster.
