Jen Aniston Will Play the First Lesbian POTUS
Jennifer Aniston is about to be the President of the United States... in her newest Netflix movie, at least. Jennifer will play the first female and lesbian POTUS alongside comedian Tig Notaro in First Ladies.
The two actresses play Beverly and Kasey Nicholson, the First Couple, and the movie is co-written by Tig and her wife Stephanie Allynne.
This is Jennifer's second Netflix project in the works right now. She's also starring in Murder Mystery alongside Adam Sandler. Adam plays a police officer who finally takes his wife (Jennifer) on a Euro trip. The trip goes south, though, when the two find themselves on a yacht in the middle of a murder investigation.
Jennifer is also starring as a morning news anchor with Reese Witherspoon to jumpstart Apple's original programming.
The actress has kept a low profile since splitting from Justin Theroux in February, and friends tell People her life is very different now.
“Justin has moved on with his life in N.Y.C.,” and “Jen still enjoys hers in L.A.,” the source said, and she “loves socializing with friends.”
“Her friends always invite her out and to parties,” the source said. “Jen has a very caring group of friends that take care of her.”
