Former Auburn guard Honesty Scott-Grayson doesn't make WNBA roster, waived by Mystics

Former Auburn guard Honesty Scott-Grayson has been waived by the Washington Mystics, the team announced Thursday morning. Scott-Grayson's waiver came just days before the May 13 cutoff for WNBA teams to finalize their rosters, which consist of just 12 roster spots. With 12 teams in the league, there are just 144 roster spots available across the entire league, making it increasingly hard for rookies like Scott-Grayson to earn a spot over seasoned veterans, as well as other rookies. Despite being included in a number of mock drafts, Scott-Grayson slid out of the WNBA Draft on April 15 and settled for a training camp invite from the Washington Mystics.
