The story between PSG and Hugo Ekitike therefore only lasted one season. Loaned to Eintracht Frankfurt since this summer, the 21-year-old French striker was transferred permanently to Germany. The two clubs communicated this Friday on the exercise of the purchase option included in the loan of the ex-Rémois, now under contract until 2029 with Frankfurt. To finalize this transfer, Eintracht paid Paris Saint-Germain a total compensation of around 20 million for Hugo Ekitiké, who thus becomes the most expensive recruit in the club's history.
