When looking at the 25 under 25 list, I was surprised at how low Mueller was on our list. A former first round pick, Mueller had all of the hype in the world attached to his name. Is the shine starting to come off a once sterling prospect? Mueller is never going to be a point producing player at the professional level. While a fairly smooth skater, his game unfortunately doesn’t translate into offense. After 11 points in 50 games this past season with the Barracuda, it is time to start looking at potential ways to jump start his game. He played eleven games this past year with the Sharks and registered zero points. His possession numbers were decidedly average as he only had a 50.9% CF at 5v5.
Happy trade-iversary! One year ago, on July 28, 2015, the Pittsburgh Penguins traded Brandon Sutter and a third round pick for a second round pick, Adam Clendening, and, most important of all, Nick Bonino. Now, a year later, Bonino is a Stanley Cup champion, and everyone loves him. He had an amazing Amish-like beard, he became part of the fabled new HBK line alongside Carl Hagelin and Phil Kessel, and he got to be the subject of possibly the best ever Punjabi hockey call. He's just all around awesome. Bonino had bounced around for a couple of years prior to joining the Penguins a year ago. Initially drafted by the San Jose Sharks, he was traded to the Anaheim Ducks, where he stayed until the
