The Pittsburgh Penguins have re-signed forward Jonathan Gruden to a two-year contract, it was announced today by President of Hockey Operations and General Manager Kyle Dubas. The contract runs through the 2025-26 season and carries an average annual value of $775,000 at the NHL level. Gruden, 24, split the 2023-24 season between the Penguins and the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins of the American Hockey League. The forward skated in 13 games with Pittsburgh, scoring his first NHL goal on March 2 against the Calgary Flames.
