So much for talk that Sidney Crosby was not his usual dominant self.
With two assists against Philadelphia in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference final, Crosby took the NHL playoff scoring lead with 19 points. He has five points in the series.
Crosby was strong in an opening-round sweep of Ottawa but appeared to be slowed by a nagging high right ankle sprain in the second round against the New York Rangers.
However, he has tortured the Flyers, who are without top defensemen Kimmo Timonen and Braydon Coburn and lack the mobility on defense to keep up with Crosby.
"I kind of laugh at the talk that he's not playing well," right wing Marian Hossa said of Crosby, his center on the Penguins' top line. ...More |
