Stu Cowan: Cayden Primeau is excited about future with Canadiens

This was a challenging season for the Canadiens' Cayden Primeau. Primeau was the third member of an uncomfortable three-goalie rotation because GM Kent Hughes was afraid of losing the 24-year-old on waivers if he tried to send him down to the AHL's Laval Rocket. Hughes was finally able to deal Jake Allen to the New Jersey Devils at the NHL trade deadline on March 8, leaving Samuel Montembeault and Primeau as the two goalies heading into next season.
