Red Wings' Derek Lalonde named U.S. assistant coach at Worlds

Detroit Red Wings coach Derek Lalonde will serve as an assistant coach for Team USA at the World Championship for the second year in a row. Lalonde on Friday was named to the staff of head coach John Hynes of the Minnesota Wild. Lalonde will be coaching at least two of his players; Dylan Larkin and Alex Lyon were among the first 15 players named to the team on Wednesday.
