Report: Blue Jackets set to hire former Canes GM Don Waddell

The Columbus Blue Jackets have identified their top prospect to replace Jarmo Kekalainen. According to multiple reports, the Jackets are set to hire former Carolina Hurricanes President and General Manager Don Waddell. Waddell resigned from his position with the Canes this past Friday. The Detroit, Michigan native has over two decades of overseeing hockey operations in the NHL.
