C Adam Henrique scored the overtime goal that eliminated the Panthers in the first round and didn't score again until he slipped the winner home at 1:03 of overtime Friday night.
"Again, unflappable," coach Pete DeBoer said. "I mean, this kid is just the right place, right time all the time. The two biggest goals of the playoffs come off his stick. That's not accidental."
The goal gave Henrique 11 points in the playoffs, breaking Scott Gomez's club rookie playoff scoring record, set in 2000.

Henrique will play right wing on the Devils' second line with Patrik Elias at center and Ilya Kovalchuk on the left in Monday's Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals, the Newark Star-Ledger reports.
Recommendation: The Devils have been shut out in two games this series and coach Peter DeBoer wants to spark some offense from his skilled players. Henrique is in a good situation with two veteran players and could benefit in Game 4.
