RW Teddy Purcell continued his in-and-out game. Scratched on Friday, back in the lineup Saturday, scratched Monday and back in the lineup Wednesday, Purcell took the place of LW Alexander Frolov on the Kings' checking line after Frolov moved up to replace injured LW Ryan Smyth. Purcell did not record a point and has not recorded a point for seven consecutive games.
