Booth (concussion) is expected to start exercising in the next few days, according to the Miami Herald. Recommendation: Booth hasn't been able to do much of anything for the last two weeks, so he's itching to get back on the ice now that the headaches have waned. All of that said, expect the Panthers to be prudent with their young star and guard against rushing him back. A return before the fantasy week of Nov. 16-22 doesn't seem likely. |

LW David Booth returned to the team's practice facility on Tuesday, his face bruised and swollen, his right eye a number of funky colors. Booth says he knows he looks bad but is grateful he wasn't seriously hurt after being knocked out by Mike Richards during Saturday's loss at Philadelphia. Booth had to spend a night at a Philadelphia hospital with a concussion but has no other injuries. He's expected to miss at least the next 10 days. "It's unfortunate. Maybe I should have been more careful, I don't know," Booth said. "Those things happen. It's hockey. It could have been worse. I'm thankful it's not." |
