G Pekka Rinne won his seventh straight game, tying a franchise record for consecutive wins, set by Tomas Vokoun, who twice had seven-game win streaks -- one each in the 2003-2004 and 2005-2006 seasons. Rinne is 11-1-0 in his last 12 appearances.

Rinne made 26 saves Saturday in a 4-3 shootout victory over Columbus. "I have always kind of liked shootouts," Rinne said. "For a goalie, you want to be a difference maker."
Advice: Riine improved to 8-1-0 with a 2.18 GAA in his last nine starts.
