Simon Holmstrom's goal helps Islanders top Penguins
Simon Holmstrom roofed a shot for the go-ahead goal at 14:27 of the third as the New York Islanders topped the visiting Pittsburgh Penguins 5-4 on Wednesday night. Holmstrom, Brock Nelson and Samuel Bolduc each had a goal and an assist, and Casey Cizikas and Kyle Palmieri also scored for the Islanders, who finished the regular season 39-27-16.

Michael Bunting snapped a tie with 5:28 left in the third period, and the Pittsburgh Penguins beat the Tampa Bay Lightning 5-4 on Saturday. Referee Steve Kozari was taken off the ice on a stretcher after colliding with Lightning defenseman Haydn Fleury 6:11 into the third period. Fleury did not return.
