C Evgeni Malkin's second goal in as many games and D Martin Skoula's two scores lifted Pittsburgh at Atlanta on Saturday. The Penguins are 3-1-0 since Malkin returned after missing seven straight with a right shoulder injury.

Malkin returned to the Penguins' lineup for the first time since Oct. 28 on Saturday and had three assists in Pittsburgh's 6-5 overtime win over Boston.
Advice: Malkin assisted on Bill Guerin's game-tying goal with 0.4 seconds left. The Penguins were 0 for 26 on the power play without Malkin, who has a point on eight of the team's 11 power-play goals this season.

Malkin (shoulder) is "being counted on" to play Saturday night against Boston, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.
Recommendation: Normally, when a player misses seven games it's wise to let him get back in the flow of things before activating him. Malkin is a different kind of player altogether, however, and one good game from him sometimes equals two or three from other players. Activate him.
