Jul 4 The Sharks traded Carle to Tampa Bay on Friday, the Associated Press reports.

Recommendation: The Sharks shipped Carle, prospect Ty Wishart and two draft picks to the Lightning for defenseman Dan Boyle. Carle was a tremendous disappointment last year, tallying just two goals and 13 assists in 62 games.

Advice: Carle had two goals and 13 assists in 62 games last season, frequently getting benched by coach Ron Wilson. Carle won the Hobey Baker Award at Denver University as the NCAA's top hockey player, but hasn't yet starred in the NHL.
