G Tim Thomas lost his sixth straight start Tuesday night when he fell to Washington in Boston. His, and the team's, last win was back on Jan. 14. His backup, Tuukka Rask, hasn't won since Dec. 30. Thomas remained confident his team will make the playoffs, saying, "Yeah, because at this point, we're playing so well that it's just all about confidence. Getting the confidence back from me, up through the defensemen, to the guys that do the scoring. They're right there. All it is, is it's all in our heads right now. We're giving the physical effort." |
