C Jason Spezza can be one of the most exciting players in the game with his heavy arsenal of moves and stick-handling skills. He had it all on display during a third-period, end-to-end rush that only did not end up as a goal because Martin Brodeur made an outstanding save on his backhander.

Spezza had a goal and two assists Thursday in a 3-2 overtime win over the Lightning. It was his first goal of the season.
Advice: Sidelined the previous two games because of back pain, Spezza drove a slap shot past Antero Niittymaki for his third point of the game after Tampa Bay's Mattias Ohlund was sent off for holding 3 minutes into overtime. "I felt pretty good about my game going into tonight and I just wasn't getting many bounces," said Spezza, a 30-goal scorer each of the last three seasons. "It's nice to get one, though, to get the monkey off a little bit."

Spezza (undisclosed) will be back in the lineup for Thursday's game against Tampa Bay confirms TSN.ca.
Recommendation: This is great news for both the Sens and Spezza's fantasy owners. Spezza missed two games, both of which Ottawa lost. He'll center the first line with Milan Michalek and Daniel Alfredsson flanking him.
