LW Darcy Hordichuk finally got out of the press box after Rick Rypien was forced to sit out Thursday's win over Los Angeles with an "upper-body" injury the team insists is minor. Hordichuk had been a healthy scratch for four straight games since getting an instigator penalty for a late game fight that led to a one-game suspension for the tough guy and a $10,000 fine for his head coach, further entrenching the struggling enforcer in Alain Vigneult's doghouse. Hordichuk, who hasn't won a fight this season, did manage three hits but was mostly unnoticeable in his 6:10 of ice time, and he seems destined to sit out again once Rypien returns.
