LW Mike Rupp admitted he was not provoked by Martin Brodeur when he punched the Devils goalie after a whistle -- earning a double-minor for roughing and a 10-minute misconduct -- late in Game 4.
"No, nothing was said," Rupp told the New York Daily News. "It's a hockey game. Things happen in the moment. Those things happen in this game, and it's not much more than that."
