Nov 7 C Tim Connolly played in his 500th career NHL game Saturday against Boston. Yahoo! Sports

Oct 31 Connolly scored on a power play 1:04 into overtime - his second goal of the game - to help the surging Sabres beat Toronto 3-2 on Friday night.

Advice: Connolly added an assist and has 10 points in 10 games, which is not all that surprising considering his recent history. When he's been healthy - not always a sure thing - Connolly has 97 points in 106 games since the start of the 2007-08 season.

STATS LLC

Oct 30 Connolly scored two goals in Friday's win over the Maple Leafs. His second goal came in overtime while the Sabres were on the power play.

Recommendation: Connolly has proved to be extremely valuable whenever he steps onto the ice. The problem is that he hasn't been able to stay healthy over the last few years. If he manages to put in a full season he has the ability to far exceed his draft position and win you a fantasy championship.
