Rozsival remained with New York, agreeing to a four-year deal worth $20 million on Tuesday. Advice: Rozsival scored a career-high 13 goals and added 25 assists in 80 games in 2007-08 for the Rangers, with whom he has spent the previous three seasons. He was one of the Rangers' key unrestricted free agents, along with Jaromir Jagr, Sean Avery, and Brendan Shanahan. |

The Rangers re-signed Rozsival to a four year, $20 million deal, the Westchester Journal-News' Rangers blog reports. Recommendation: The Rangers turned down a similar proposal from Rozsival last week but after seeing the deal that Brian Campbell signed coupled with Rosie's desire to remain with the Blueshirts, they obviously had a change of heart. Rozsival said his surgically-repaired left hip muscle is healing and should allow him to resume strenous workouts in a couple of weeks. Barring any additional signings, Rozsival should once again be the team's main defenseman on the power play. |
