Nov 5 C Joe Thornton scored his 100th goal as a Shark. Yahoo! Sports

Nov 2 As a result of taking a puck to the mouth this past Friday against Colorado, Thornton lost three of his upper teeth and also sustained damage to three on the bottom, the San Jose Mercury News reports.

Recommendation: "... I thought my teeth were all good up top, then I took out the mouth guard and the teeth came right with it,” Thornton said. Well, Thornton might get extra attention from the Tooth Fairy for this one, but according to an earlier report by the Mercury News, it shouldn't hold him out of any games.
