As the Rams prepare for their first game with Jim Haslett as head coach, they have some major question marks at the receiver position.
Rookie Keenan Burton (knee) and Drew Bennett (foot) are out, and then the Rams learned Dane Looker would be unavailable because doctors are concerned by a spot on his brain. When the Rams were informed of the Looker situation Tuesday, Eddie Kennison was re-signed after being released earlier in the day. Derek Stanley is also expected to be signed from the practice squad.
The Looker situation bears watching. When he suffered a concussion in the team's Sept. 28 game against Buffalo, he figured it wouldn't be long until he was back playing again. ...More |
