Los Angeles Chargers add sack specialist to much-improved roster
The Los Angeles Chargers are a team that has filled several holes on the roster this offseason and now seems to be a team just adding luxury pieces. The Chargers already have two of the more well-known sack artists in the league in Joey Bosa and Khalil Mack. On top of that, Tuli Tuipulotu was a great find in the draft last year, registering 4.5 sacks as a rookie. The addition of Dupree gives them one of the best edge-rushing groups in football.

It's not the sexy pick, but it's a pick thats going to make the Chargers better immediately and in the long term. Even though they needed wide receiver help, they also needed help at tackle and got a 10-year, Pro Bowl level starter in Joe Alt.

Expert Commentary
The Chargers desperately needed a wide receiver and traded up to get the speedy playmaker from Georgia. He was a force for the Dawgs from Day 1 and a fantastic route runner for an offense that featured several NFL players. It’s an unproven wide receiver room for the Chargers, but McConkey and Quentin Johnston have some promise at least.

The Chargers really needed a linebacker in the draft and Jim Harbaugh went back to Michigan to find one. Colson is one of the better linebacker prospects in the draft and his athleticism should help him make plays early for the Chargers.
