Eagles' GM Howie Roseman embraces 'Big Pimpin' nickname given by new draft pick
The Philadelphia Eagles earned rave reviews for their performance in the 2024 NFL Draft. General manager Howie Roseman spent all of draft weekend wheeling and dealing, trading up, down, left, and right to acquire whatever picks he deemed necessary. All in all, the Eagles welcomed nine new players to the franchise over the course of the draft, including first-round pick cornerback Quinyon Mitchell, Texas running back Will Shipley, and linebacker Jeremiah Trotter Jr., son of Eagles legend Jeremiah Trotter Sr., out of Clemson.

This pick might be the steal of the draft when we look back. The Eagles just got a player who checks all the boxes that a team could want for a cornerback prospect — from production to athleticism. Mitchell is the exact type of prospect the Eagles needed to add and has real shutdown potential in the NFL.
