Howie Roseman: Eagles were 'aggressive' trying to get Iowa DB Cooper DeJean in 2024 NFL Draft
Former Iowa football defensive back Cooper DeJean, projected to be a first-round pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, fell to the second round — right in the laps of the Philadelphia Eagles. DeJean, a unanimous All-America selection last season, fell to No. 40 overall and into a solid situation with the Eagles, who made the Super Bowl in 2022 and the playoffs again last season. Philadelphia general manager Howie Roseman, who's known for being one of the more savvy drafters in the NFL, spoke about what DeJean brings to the Eagles during an appearance on "The Pat McAfee Show" on Thursday.
