Raiders' Offseason Shows Commitment to Improve Their Blocking
The signing of Pro Bowl offensive lineman Andrus Peat was another move by Las Vegas Raiders general manager Tom Telesco to make the Raiders a better blocking team in 2024. Las Vegas finished No. 17 in the league in offense last season. Telesco is building the Raiders' offense from the ground up by adding depth to the offensive line and bolstering the Silver and Black's blocking.

Expert Commentary
This is a bit of a surprise at this point because the Raiders just drafted Michael Mayer last year, but it’s hard to get too mad at adding a talent like Brock damn Bowers. The Raiders' two-tight end personnel sets are going to be a beast and they’ll be in good position to make life easier for whoever is playing quarterback for them this year.

Expert Commentary
This is probably a good spot for Powers-Johnson, who was announced as a guard instead of a center. Regardless, the Raiders needed bodies on the interior and Powers-Johnson is a credible player to add at guard. Very steady starter.
