Pro Football Focus wrote of Laube, "[His] receiving and special teams ability should yield a long NFL career, but his lack of true NFL size and power might limit his ceiling." Last season, Laube rushed for 745 yards on 161 attempts with nine touchdowns.

Expert Commentary
This is a bit of a surprise at this point because the Raiders just drafted Michael Mayer last year, but it’s hard to get too mad at adding a talent like Brock damn Bowers. The Raiders' two-tight end personnel sets are going to be a beast and they’ll be in good position to make life easier for whoever is playing quarterback for them this year.

This is probably a good spot for Powers-Johnson, who was announced as a guard instead of a center. Regardless, the Raiders needed bodies on the interior and Powers-Johnson is a credible player to add at guard. Very steady starter.
