NFL Rumors: Tom Brady's Raiders Ownership Opposed by Some Teams Due to Fox Role
As NFL legend Tom Brady continues his quest to become a minority owner of the Las Vegas Raiders, NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reported that many teams are against him being an owner while also working in the broadcast booth for Fox. "There are some teams, I've talked to them, that are vehemently opposed to Tom Brady being an equity partner, being a part owner of a team and broadcasting games," Pelissero said on The Rick Eisen Show (1:37 mark). Brady, who became an owner of the WNBA's Las Vegas Aces last fall, has been looking to gain ownership in the Raiders since last year.

This is a bit of a surprise at this point because the Raiders just drafted Michael Mayer last year, but it’s hard to get too mad at adding a talent like Brock damn Bowers. The Raiders' two-tight end personnel sets are going to be a beast and they’ll be in good position to make life easier for whoever is playing quarterback for them this year.

This is probably a good spot for Powers-Johnson, who was announced as a guard instead of a center. Regardless, the Raiders needed bodies on the interior and Powers-Johnson is a credible player to add at guard. Very steady starter.
