Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver implicated in alleged Dallas assault
Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice has once again found himself in legal trouble. According to The Dallas Morning News, Rice is the suspect in an alleged assault that occurred in a Dallas nightclub. Multiple reports indicate that the Dallas Police have initiated an investigation following a call about an assault at 2:30 a.m. local time on Monday morning. “The preliminary investigation determined a victim reported being assaulted by a suspect in the 600 block of North Harwood Street,” the department stated.

Expert Commentary
The Chiefs add some speed to their wide receiver room and some playmaking for Patrick Mahomes. This does feel a tad redundant with Marquise Brown on the roster, but that's only a one-year deal. Mahomes solves all problems, and having Rashee Rice on the roster is a nice changeup from the Brown and Worthy combo, but a 165-pound player in the first round is a bit of a tough sell.

One plus is not enough here — this is a potentially franchise-altering pick for the Chiefs here at the bottom of the second round. Suamataia is a bit raw, but he has legitimate franchise left tackle athleticism and movement ability. Throw him out there and let him grow into an elite tackle.
